New Life Recovery

Interventions

Utilizing intervention services can be a critical first step toward recovery from addiction. A professional interventionist helps organize a thoughtful, compassionate approach to motivate your loved one to seek treatment. By approaching the situation with empathy, we minimize feelings of being attacked or judged, creating a supportive environment that maximizes the chances of success. The goal is to inspire willingness for change and open the door to recovery in a way that fosters understanding and respect.

The aim of our intervention process is to help your loved one recognize the seriousness and gravity of their situation, understand the impact their struggles have on themselves and others, and guide them toward beginning their recovery journey. At the same time, we provide support to the family, helping them navigate feelings of helplessness as they witness the painful battle with addiction. Our goal is to create a compassionate, constructive environment that fosters understanding and encourages the individual to take the first step toward healing, while also empowering the family to be part of the solution.

It can be overwhelming to try to manage addiction on your own, which is why it’s often more effective to bring in a professional interventionist. We can help navigate the complexities of your situation with experience and expertise. A professional intervention is proven to be one of the most effective ways to support individuals in accepting help and taking the first steps toward finding lasting solutions. By allowing a trained expert to facilitate the process, we create a compassionate, structured environment that increases the likelihood of success and recovery.

The ARISE Intervention is a family-based, flexible, and invitational approach to helping people with addiction get treatment. The process is longer and offers the family six months of support. We

  • Engage the individual by inviting the person of concern to participate in the intervention from the beginning, with respect, love, and no surprises or secrets. This gives them a sense of control over their life and health.
  • Support the family by guiding family members to do as much of the therapeutic work as possible, and use family strengths to help them heal from the effects of addiction.
  • Minimize therapist involvement utilizing a process of family meetings that increase in intensity until the person of concern agrees to treatment. The intervention network’s collective motivation is a key part of the process, and as the family changes, so do the individuals within it

Any method you choose will take a supportive, non-judgmental approach to motivate a person who may otherwise be refusing help, such as entering treatment, detox, or rehab. Our goal is to inspire willingness by creating a compassionate and understanding environment, helping your loved one to see the value of seeking the help they need. Through empathy and careful guidance, we work to overcome resistance and encourage them to take that crucial first step toward recovery.
